The state of Rhode Island Department of business regulation/Real estate division requires candidates for licensure to complete a 45-hour in class study course as well as the real estate agency law class (included in course) plus a 3-hour lead class which can be taken online or in an approved school. Candidates must pass the state administered real estate exam and submit an application for licensure to receive their official license.
