A top agent shares their thoughts on being in the real estate business

As a top real estate agent, I can tell you that deciding to get into the real estate business was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was a complete game changer for me, and I'll explain why.

First of all, the freedom that comes with being a real estate agent is unmatched. I have the ability to set my own schedule, work from anywhere, and take time off when I need it. This level of flexibility allows me to balance my work life with my personal life, which is something that a traditional job could never provide.

Another reason why being a real estate agent is so rewarding is the sense of satisfaction that comes with helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership. There's nothing quite like the feeling of handing over the keys to a client's new home and seeing the joy on their faces. Knowing that I played a part in helping someone find their dream home is incredibly fulfilling.

Of course, it would be remiss of me not to mention the financial rewards that come with being a successful real estate agent. While there is certainly no guarantee of income in this industry, the potential for high earnings is certainly there. The more successful I am in helping my clients buy and sell homes, the more money I can earn. This level of financial freedom is something that a traditional job could never provide.

Overall, deciding to get into the real estate business was a game changer for me. The freedom, satisfaction, and financial rewards that come with being a successful agent are second to none. If you're considering a career in real estate, I would highly encourage you to take the leap – it could change your life in ways you never thought possible.

Rhode Island real estate license hustle

Rhode Island- A full or part time real estate agent has the potential to earn an income significantly above any potential job could provide, let's break it down.

Job earning $25 per hour working 20 hours a week is 80 hours per month @ $2,000 gross income per month.

Sell one house at the medium price of a home in Rhode Island of $419,000 and a 6% commission equals $25,140.00 of which even if your portioned  earned was just 25% it would equal $6,285 gross to you.

If you are going to invest the time why not do something that will provide a significant return on your time and effort.  And one of the best parts of having a Rhode Island real estate license is you can work as much or as little as you want.

There are many licensed Rhode Island real estate agents who practice part time and are earning more in some cases than they make at their full time job, of course results vary. See where a Rhode Island real estate license can take you.

Rhode Island and Florida agree to real estate licensing reciprocity

Rhode Island real estate agents earn Florida license
Warwick Rhode Island- Rhode Island has entered into a licensing reciprocity agreement with the state of Florida. With this agreement, licensed Rhode Island real estate agents can now apply for their Florida license without full examination. According to Robert Scaralia Education Director for the Real Estate Institute Of Rhode Island the announcement of this mutual agreement by the two states is welcome news for both our real estate pre-licensing students and all current licensed real estate agents in Rhode Island.  Scaralia adds most Rhode Island real estate agents seek a Massachusetts and Connecticut reciprocal license primarily since Rhode Island agents often cross borders but Florida's appeal is strong because many agents retire to Florida or spend the winters months there.  For more information about the requirements to become a licensed real estate agent in Rhode Island visit www.InstituteRI.com

Why becoming a real estate agent can offer something a J.O.B. never can?

One of the great things about being a real estate agent is the control both in terms of time and money.  Unlike a JOB where you are told what to do, when to do it and what you are worth, a career in real estate provides you the opportunity to define all these things on your terms.

Welcome to real estate where if you choose full time or part time you are the boss! Make no mistake it is liberating to get rid of the boss but you need to now take full ownership and responsibilty for your livelyhood.  As a real estate agent you are by definition an independent contractor free to make decisions as you see fit, ask any agent and they will tell you the greatest benifit of being a real estate agent is the control and freedom to create a business as big or little as you choose, the possibilities are endless if you are willing to learn and have a strong work ethic.  Once you get a taste for this amazing opportunity it will be difficult going back to a JOB.  To learn more about becoming a Rhode Island real estate agent and or to get started in the real estate pre-licensing classes log into the Real Estate Institute Of Rhode Islands website at www.InstituteRI.com for infomation about real estate licensing requirments, career path options and frequntly asked questions about a career in real estate.
